Bio: Faria Nassiri-Mofakham is an associate professor of computer engineering at Department of Information Technology at UI, received her BSc in Mathematics and MSc and PhD in Computer Engineering from UI, and visited Intelligent Agent Technology group in Swinburne University of Technology (Melbourne, AUSTRALIA) and Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS). She was top student, and has awarded Best E-Commerce Paper, Best Idea, Best Thesis, Distinguished Student, and Best Woman Researcher. She has been the reviewer of high rank journals including Elsevier INS, AIJ, KnoSys, ECRA, and IEEE IC as well as PC member of top-level international conferences in Artificial Intelligence such as IJCAI and AAAI. She has teaching experiences in a variety of topics, from Artificial Intelligence and Fundamentals of Electronic Marketplaces, to Data Mining, and Ethics in Information Technology. She has supervised several finalist teams who made the winner ranks in International Automated Negotiating Agents Competition and Alibaba International Big Data Competition. She has been the lead and member of several domestic and joint international research projects in e-commerce, Industry 4.0, automated negotiation, and computational social choice. She has awarded Elsevier Outstanding Reviewer, the Nationwide Outstanding award for Teaching and Research in Information Technology, the Biennial Isfahan Book Award, and the EU-Iran UNITEL Teaching Certificate. Her research interests lie in Automated Negotiation, Complex Auctions, Game Theory, Mechanism Design, Strategic Decision-Making, Computational Social Choice, Multiagent Systems, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Recommender Systems, E-Marketing, E-Banking, Cognitive Science, Ethics, and Arts for designing mechanisms and modeling users in Smart Markets for society, environment and industry.
